This high toned watercolour was born as I walked the Bridlington beach early one morning looking across to Flamborough Head. I set out to infuse onto the paper those colours that the low sun was projecting through thin cloud. The man and the dog walked past whist I was sketching the scene and of course I put them in the picture to provide a foil for the colour diffusion.
